Summertime!

It’s summer and the days are hot, slow and lazy. At least that’s the way it seems from here! I find that during the summer, our patrons just aren’t into computer classes. So, I slow down a little in response. These are the classes in July:

July 15 10:00 am More Basic Skills

Planning a vacation? Come to the library and learn about all the resources we can provide, both online and in print!

July 29 10:00 am Blogging 101
Looking for a way to share something you are passionate about? Blogging might just be your thing. Blogging 101 will get you started.

In August, I have slowed things down even more!

August 12 10:00 am Basic Computer Skills
Hands-on training on the basic components of computers, including using the keyboard, mouse and navigating in Windows.

August 21 10:00 am More Basic Skills
Do you need a class to build on the foundations you learned in the Basic Computer Skills class? This class is for you!

August 26 10:00 am Internet 1
New to the Internet? This class will give you the information and skills you need to navigate the World Wide Web.

So rest up, have a nice relaxed summer, “cause fall is coming with a lot more classes!
