Penny-pinching librarian

I have officially become my mother! Front-page headlines no longer grab my attention, only the multitude of coupon pages inserted in my Sunday newspaper provide me with several hours of reading and cutting coupons.
Since grocery, gas, and other miscellaneous items continue to increase I now feel more pressure to look for ways to save. Besides purchasing in bulk I am searching the Internet for websites which provide access to online coupons for shopping. As with any website be sure to read the fine print or FAQ’s! Take a look at some of these great sites:
- www.freecycle.org : free items people no longer want
- www.mycoupons.com : grocery and other retail coupons
- www.momsview.com : printable coupons for moms
- http://www.mysafeflorida.org/travel/discount_vacations_coupons.html : discounts/specials on Florida vacation packages
Other ways to save? Instead of buying five lattes a week try only two. You will save $450.00 per year. Or stop buying a new book once a month. Use the West Palm Beach Public Library and save $360.00 per year. Save on your utility bill by turning off your computer and enjoy free Internet in our comfortable library! Rent free DVD’s from our library and save over $200.00.
Do you have any ideas on ways to save?
